Yes typo review4/12/2023 Size up for more of a freeride experience or stick with your normal size for a more freestyle(park) board. ![]() Greats Uninc is an all around weapon for the entire mountain. The Underbite 101 shape of this board adds to this decks ability to butter and having less surface area in the tips and more under foot and through the middle helps with its playfulness. You can get sideways and really press into the snow with ease. It will float amazingly well in pow and rip up groomers, park jumps and rails, side hits, and natural terrain with ease. Butterability: That hinged flex point makes this board fun and playful. I really liked the shape of this board, it’s primarily for the advanced to expert rider who rides the whole mountain and prefers a freestyle feeling for an all mountain and freeride board. A highly skilled intermediate or advanced and expert riders will enjoy riding this board as their daily driver as an all mountain freestyle or freeride board. Yes’s Greats Uninc was right at home in the park too, it felt good on rails and had great pop on jumps and you can easily stomp landings with this bad boy on jumps of any size. It’s a very unique and fun looking shape, so it gets high points from me on the design factor, and also for the fact the design plays into how it rides.Īlready being a fan of asymmetrical boards I felt comfortable on this board immediately, carving is fun on this board and it will hold an edge in most any condition you can throw at it. Overall this shape provides you with a stable board with great pop that is easy to spin, and allows you to stomp landings off of jumps. The asymmetrical shape has a narrow waist width combined with a visibly wider pronounced tip and tail. The Greats features rocker in the tip and tail and camber underfoot, a sintered base, Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo Core for a light, poppy and responsive, and durable experience. what it is today, an amazing rider driven company with a strong line of boards for any rider. ![]() I’m thankful for the team for not giving up ever and making Yes. into life through some hardships and brilliance on the part these riders. It was a great time to shake some things up in the industry, and unintentionally brought the brand Yes. Greats Uninc, in my opinion, pays the most homage to the Uninc brand that JP Solberg, Romain De Marchi, DCP, and Gigi Rüf started under the Burton umbrella to disrupt the market with a taste of originality many years ago. It’s built for all mountain freestyle, and was completely redesigned in 2019, and currently comes in sizes 151, 154, 156, and 159.
